 what do I need?
The wireless built-in to your laptop is a different flavour so you will need one of our special desktop modems which will be supplied to you by Furnished Properties. It takes just minutes to setup, requires no software and can be used anywhere in your apartment. You simply plug into power, plug into your machine and connect.

Consider renting a modem as like renting a car: You pay from the time you pick it up to the time you drop it off. Data is like mileage, we throw in an allowance per day which covers you for general running around (web and email) but if you're planning a big trip (downloading a lot), then you can pre-buy extra mileage allowance at a discounted rate (1GB of data for $50), otherwise you can just pay for your mileage when you return it (at 15c per MB).
