how much is it?
Consider renting a modem as like renting a car: You pay from the time you pick it up to the time you drop it off. Data is like mileage, we throw in an allowance which covers you for general running around (web and email) but if you're planning a big trip (downloading a lot), then you can pre-buy extra mileage allowance at a discounted rate of 1GB for $50, otherwise you can just pay for your extra mileage when you return it (at 15c per MB).
