Unlike some other mobile broadband providers who expect you to buy a modem and sign up to a two year contract before you get to use their service (potentially getting stung and kicking yourself when it's not quite as you imagined), renting allows you to make sure you've made the right choice. Fat Free, in partnership with our friends at iBurst, allows you to easily rent a modem and go for a spin. If you love it, then you can simply buy a modem (at a discounted rate) and go on a monthly plan.

things you should know: 5GB & 10GB plans available to new customers or customers out of contract. Data allowance includes both upload and download. Speed reduced to 64kbps after data limit reached. Option to be charged excess data at 15c/MB. You can change your plan once a month – just let us know by the 20th of the month and your new plan will be in effect from the 27th (the new billing cycle). $20 fee to change plans up or down. Actual speed may vary depending on a number of factors including but not limited to coverage areas. $50 charge to exchange modems plus any difference in modem cost. $20 delivery fee.
